Do I need to install anything?
No. Your apps open in a browser tab on a Mac, a Chromebook, a tablet or a Windows PC. Nothing is installed on your device.
Which Windows apps work?
Most classic Windows software does: accounting and tax packages, ERP clients, design and engineering tools, vendor utilities. Apps that need special hardware (a USB dongle, a scanner) or heavy 3D graphics may need a different setup, which is exactly what our free checker is for.
Is this a whole second computer?
You can open a single app, or a full Windows desktop where your plan includes it. Either way it runs on a Windows machine in the cloud, not on yours, and your device only shows the picture.
How is this different from remote desktop?
There is no client to install, no IP address to set up and no VPN. You open a link in your browser. Each session runs in its own Windows account.
